Our Team

Dr. Jennifer Bergvall is a dedicated optometrist with a passion for enhancing the vision and eye health of her patients. She embarked on her journey to become an optometrist by earning her degree from Hartwick College. Her commitment to excellence led her to further her education at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she graduated in 1999.

Jennifer and her husband, Adam Herold, have called Richmond home since 2003, and they have been an integral part of the Capital Eye Care team since 2005. Together, they have nurtured a warm and welcoming environment for their patients.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Jennifer is a loving mother to two children, Anna and Evan. Jennifer’s dedication to her patients makes her a valued member of the Richmond community and the Capital Eye Care family.

Dr. Adam Herold grew up in Charlotte and has been an optometrist serving the Richmond community. Adam’s educational journey began at the University of North Carolina. After completing his undergraduate degree, Adam pursued his dream of becoming an optometrist by attending the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.

Adam has lived in the Richmond area since 2003 and been a valued part of the Capital Eye Care staff since 2005. When he’s not working, he enjoys sports as well as spending time with his wife and two kids, Anna and Evan.

Adam Herold has become a trusted figure in the Richmond community, serving as president of the Richmond Optometric Society and other leadership positions.
